I found someone who LISTENS!!

Certain instances of humiliation, criticism, emptiness, brokenness, blame and betrayal that I had faced in an abusive marital relationship a year ago, pop up in my mind suddenly and it becomes really hard to swallow my tears as I feel the emotional wounds are still as fresh as they were a year back. During those sudden downhearted moments, I felt I need to express my feelings to someone who listens. I only wanted to vent my feeling of been used, cheap and cheated on. I don’t need any help, suggestion, solution or the stereotype advice to ‘Move on’. I only needed someone to respond by just LISTENING with all attention and saying ‘I understand’ if they please to…. Someone who can validate my right to feel the way I do. To pour out the heart to a patient listener is a great relief to a burdened spirit. SEEK used in this scripture emphasizes som

But sadly, life doesn’t assure us the ‘when’ in most of the instances. We as believers, have to be extra-cautious because these are the times when our all-time foe is busy working schemes to tempt us to impatience, doubt, confusion, disappointment, depression, anxiety, weariness and failing us to inherit what GOD has for us in store. Let us turn to the scripture Exodus 32: 1 [New King James Version (NKJV)] Now when the people SAW that Moses DELAYED coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, MAKE US GODS THAT SHALL GO BEFORE US ; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.” By strength of hand the Lord brought them forth out of Egypt and the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud
